We arrived to find a wonderful site with a view overlooking a beautiful fully stocked fishing lake. This was an extended rally, running from Thursday; a very welcome situation encouraging ralliers to attend from further afield.
Friday evening saw the marshal’s cooking hotdogs for the ralliers, followed by tea, coffee and the opportunity to catch up with old friends. Saturday saw the ralliers visiting the many attractions of the area including Warwick castle, Warwick & Leamington Spa, Wellesborne market etc.
Saturday evening saw a communal barbecue which included flag, where Chris Mike & Kerry Plant – Geoff & Linda Rudge – Les & Margaret Jordan & David & Chris Goodman celebrated a landmark number of rallies, where copious amounts of wine and cakes were enjoyed by all. The evening finished with the ralliers listening to, and joining in, with the Last Night of the Proms, with everybody entering into the sprit of the evening.
A super rally, well done to the Marshals Les & Margaret Jordan and Mike Joy Roberts – when are we coming back again?
