Despite the bad weather warnings it was cold but we had a couple of nice days when the sun came out. Hallowtree Scout Camp is set in the lovely area of Nacton with a view of the river Orwell. Ipswich was not far away for those that wanted to do shopping. We also had use of the small hall in the evenings which was lovely and warm.
On Saturday evening we were treated to a lovely meal cooked by Frankie with the help of June of cottage pie and baked beans followed by a selection of delicious deserts including jelly. Tony and Frankie Hawkins were celebrating their 150th rally and Del Boy gave a lovely presentation.
A big thank you to our hard working marshals Tony and Frankie Hawkins and Derek and June Banting
