I was looking at the Club's official website and noticed that no rally report had been done for this years AGM and, seeing that it was a fantastic rally, I thought I would write.

This year's AGM was a good old fashioned SOC rally, also the club was celebrating the 1000th rally and what a way to do it!! Friday Night was ‘Casino Night’ kindly arranged by Brayford Leisure. For those that did not want to take part it was time for a catch up and chat. For those that did excitement buzzed around the room seeing who could win the most chips.

Saturday day some members went off go-karting which was kindly arranged by Dean Robinson. At times competitiveness shone through but in the final the out right winner was Dean Robinson. Smiles were had by the members that did not make the final as it saw the final 7 on their backs panting like dogs ( a sight most of us won't forget!!). Saturday Night entertainment was fantastic with all of us in stitches with the singing comedienne Siobhan Phillips and a packed dance floor with ‘The Inside Job’.

Sunday morning saw everybody up bright eyed and bushy tailed for the AGM and others had to babysit their nieces and nephews (no lie in for us either!!). After the AGM Alan Druce provided a crafty taster session on ‘waxing’ for the children and teenagers (and some very old teenagers) which kept us quiet for a while!! Sunday night's entertainment again was on top form with another packed dance floor with ‘The Choice’.

Monday was flag and the final highlight to the weekend was a jammed packed raffle full of brilliant prizes donated from Caravan Dealers and contacts of members.

I'm sure I've forgot to mention things that happened over the weekend but the final thing I would like to say is…………………. a BIG BIG Thank you to Lynn & Barry Lovatt and her Team for a brilliant AGM. And for those that missed it this year be sure to come next year as im sure Lynn and her team will do a great job if not better.
