Swift Owners Club - Website Privacy  Policy

Visitor's Personal Data
Other than cookies, as described below, the only personal data we collect is the information you voluntarily give us when you use our sites. For example, you may use this site to contact us with questions and comments or to apply to join the Club. When you fill out a form on our website, you may provide your name and other contact information,  your e-mail address, and your mailing address or other personal information. We make every reasonable effort to hold such information securely and will not divulge it to third parties unless required to do so by law . When you use our message board forums please beware that the information you provide can be viewed by other users.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that allow a website to recognise and track users. Any website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

The use of cookies by this site is restricted to those pages that need them to function properly. For example this could be to generate verification codes to enable forms to be submitted or to allow users to navigate our forum boards. We have no control over cookies placed by third parties such as advertisers, but such cookies simply tell the advertiser that you visited their site via a link from our site. This is important if they are to keep advertising with us.

Users have the opportunity to set their computers to accept all cookies, just certain ones, or not to receive cookies at any time. Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.

Members' Personal Data
Whilst Member's names and email addresses are held by the Webmaster they are only posted within the password protected Members website and then only with the permission of the member. They are not available in our Public website and are not divulged to third parties except as may be required under force of law.  Members wishing to have their email address removed from the Members'  website, should notify the Membership Officer who will amend the master record. The adress will then be automatically removed at the next monthly update.

General Data
Our server management software does record user's IP addresses and browser details, but this information does not make users personally identifiable to us.
