When all the bills were paid and the remaining funds counted we found we were in a position to donate the princely sum of £3,000 to our chosen charity, Cancer Research UK. We are very proud of this achievement which reflects the tremendous support the Group Rally enjoyed from all quarters. To mark the occasion it was decided to present the cheque at the International Caravan & Motorhome Show at the NEC in October 2006. This new show is the biggest of its kind in the UK and attracted a record number of visitors.

The presentation took place on Saturday 21st October and above you can see Group Rally Co-ordinator Carole way and other members of the Committee presenting the cheque for £3000 to Jan West of Cancer Research UK. This makes a total of £5,500 that has been presented to Cancer Research UK, by the Swift Group Rally - £2500 having been presented following the 2003 Group Rally.
