Battle of Britain Rally

Bravo! What a fantastic rally! At first I did have my doubts seeing as the social was in a hay barn, but these doubts were shattered when first greeted by Richard in a yet again brilliantly transformed mobility scooter as a spitfire! In the rally pack we were all supplied with ration and identity cards! I loved them, it shows what a hard working set of rally marshals the club has and what they can do!

Saturday evening there was a lovely varied spread, for American supper. Some came dressed according to theme, others just decorated their tables, but everything looked great! To add to the occasion and theme, a WW1 parachute was brought by Alan, for everyone to see… Or try on! Which yes I did, and boy was it heavy!
