AGM Rally, Towcester Racecourse, 1st - 5th May 2008
by Noel Willis (aged 15)
The rally started on the Thursday so when I got there on Friday night most people were there. After setting up me and my dad went to the big marquee, for some tea and biscuits.
On Saturday morning we put the awning up and had a cooked breakfast, that was nice, then we went to the tabletop sale and bought a water pump for a £1. Saturday afternoon I went too the kids fun and games, and I won the obstacle course Then we got a big thing out (you know what I mean Para shoot sort of thing with lots of colours like a rainbow) and we ran under it and wrapped some one in it, then we had a game of football, girls as well, and it finished nil-nil. Then I went the wax works (painting with hot wax - Ed) and I was rubbish despite Alan's great teaching. I got better but I still wasn't that good.
Saturday night was disco night lot of people just sat and talked with a few drinks and everyone else got on the dance floor.
Sunday was the AGM meeting were members had the chance too put across their Views which the adults who went found it interesting. Sunday night was the night the comedian came and he was hilarious and I hope he comes next year and two singers came and they were also good .
Monday was flag and raffle and I won a prize and then every one went home after a great rally. Well done too the marshals and all the team who made the rally possible .
