Hampton Court Flower Show, Walton on Thames 9th - 12th July 2009 Report by Danielle Mann

The Job Lot have done it again.. Great rally.. The rally opened on the Thursday, my sister had no school on the Friday so mum took her up a day early. I arrived on the Friday with my dad. Melanie, Nicola and Sam took all the kids to the cinema to go see Ice Age 3. It was really good.. Thanks guys.

When we got back there was tea and cakes in the gazebos for the evening… Once it had quietened down and there wasn’t so many people in the big tent, Barbara & David Morphey taught us all a game and we were up all night playing it. We all knew if Brian Parsons was one of the Mafia’s because he will probably have a laughing fit. When David spoke up and said “Have the Mafia’s identified each other” Brian Said “Yes”. Which I don’t know about everyone else but I had a feeling that Brian was a Mafia.

On Saturday the weather was really bad, it was grey and spitting through out the day, but never mind. At least the flowers got watered. Some people spent the day at the flower show, some went shopping and just lounged around drinking Pimms, not naming names, but.. Marshals .

That evening we had a TV Show quiz… Then we begged the marshals to let us play the Mafia game again. This time I let David play and I stood in for ref. It was really funny and I want to play again next rally .

On Sunday, we had flag. It was Dave and Jan Spall’s wedding anniversary so we all signed the card. The weather had lightened up a bit so it was all dry when we were packing up. After I quick journey home I can proudly say that I had a good weekend.
