Swift Coqueror 640 Salon

Can anyone help. The catch which holds the bottle rack in the fridge door has snapped. It is an unusual style of rack with a chrome handle at the top which clips into the door. It is this catch that has become brittle and snapped. Anyone know who or where i could get a replacement.?

Hi Terry

look at the manufacturers web site , there are manuals and parts list that can be down loaded

Find the part number, it may be possible to order the replacement direct in not than a dealer or an agent for the manufacturer ( again often listed on the web site )

Hi Dave
Thanks for the prompt response. Is that the Fridge manufacturer or the caravan? I have tried the Electrolux site and drawn a blank with the model number.
regards

As your fridge was made by Electrolux it must be at least 7 years old. The model of caravan suggests it could be even older. In 2002 Electrolux sold its Leisure Product operations in Germany and Slovakia to a new company - Dometic. The chance of getting spares now is therefore slim. You could always try ringing Dometic at their new HQ in Blandford St Mary- Dorset. Technical support is available on: 0844 626 0130.

If the fridge is otherwise OK it would make sense to see if you could improvise a fix. However if the fridge has seen better days then you could consider replacement with a new one. An Electrolux / Dometic fridge replacement table can be found here: http://www.a-tconsulting.co.uk/caravan_ ... table.html

Hi Terry, If you give these people a ring http://www.leisurespares.co.uk/ speak to Justin with the model no. of your fridge, usually on a plate inside, will begin with RMxxxx he will be able to tell you if the part you need is available.
