Coastline 540 mains problem

Postby DWT1 » March 22nd, 2009, 6:50 pm

Wonder of anyone can advise me about an electrical problem with my 2009 540?

Lost main power completely today. Everything had been working ok then power suddenly went off. Mains power was checked the cable is ok. Can still get 12V but nothing from the mains. Nothing tripped in the van or at the sites mains connection.

Hi DWT

I always carry a ring main tester see
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TL ... 3wod1FocZA

Can be found at elec wholesalers and b&Q etc about > £10

When on a hook up always test to sockets more important is you goto euro sites

From the description of the fault could be a loose connection from the power inlet to the consumer unit (RCD ) or a faulty RCD
I have just changed one for a guy would not work on the test button ( failed to trip) part was £15

Any problem pm me and I will give you my home phone number
