three new layouts in each brand.

Hot on the heels of announcing a revised brand strategy, the Swift Group are bolstering the Swift and Sterling ranges by launching three new layouts in each brand. Designed to meet changing customer needs, the three layouts provide an improved rear island bed layout, triple bunk layout and a single axle fixed bed with transverse rear washroom.

The new Challenger 580/Eccles Quartz will replace the Challenger 560/Eccles Opal to provide an improved rear island bed layout with longer front seats capable of being made into a double bed whilst still accommodating a chest of drawers with occasional table.

The new Challenger 570/Eccles Ruby is a single axle fixed rear bed layout with a large transverse rear washroom with separate shower cubicle. The front end is the same as the Challenger 580/Eccles Quartz so is ideal for those that like the Challenger 620/Eccles Coral layout, but don’t want a twin axle caravan.

Completing the new line up is the Charisma 565/Europa 565 which is the ideal family layout with separate rear bedroom containing triple bunk beds and a dinette which converts to a fourth bed. The front lounge will convert to two singles or a large double bed and there is a centrally located washroom and kitchen.

This provides a 6 berth layout where the three bunks can be left made up making it easy to put the kids to bed, whilst still leaving large areas of seating for day use. The rear of the van can be the kids sleeping, play and seating area leaving the front lounge free for adults. This layout has been introduced to cater for the growing number of families returning to caravan holidays in the current economic climate.

All three new layouts will be on display at the National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show 17-22 February at the NEC Birmingham.

Nick Page, Commercial Director for Swift Group commented ‘The NEC in October saw large numbers of families with young children looking at caravans for the first time.

With package holidays, air fares and the Euro impact increasing holidays abroad dramatically, holidays in the UK will be more popular in 2009 and caravan holidays will be very much back in vogue’.
