Ferry Booking

Postby Frank » November 1st, 2009, 7:47 pm

We recently booked Norfolk Ferry Dover Dunkirk route for a trip next summer. Tried to do it through Caravan Club Travel Service but all our preferred dates and sailing times came up as full. Went to the ferry company site and booked the dates and times we wanted with no problem. Do not know why this should be but worth noting.

Thanks for letting us know. We've just booked Norfolkine, Dover to Dunquerque, July next year, through the Caravan Club with no problems. It was cheaper than booking direct.

Miriam
We got the ferry for £58 return direct with Norfolk Line sailing mid June and return 9 July. I am not sure if this was the same as the Caravan Club price. If you paid less then you did very well. We just could not understand why the CC could not offer us the same sailings as the company could.

Our booking is for the school holiday period in July so quite a bit dearer. Also we have a long outfit. £58 sounds great!
