water pump

hello,i have a 2008 swift sundance and iv just found the water pump is leaking from a crack in the pressure switch.my trouble is theres no where in the isle of man i can get one.so im hopingsomeone out there just might be able to help.kindest regards mike cowin.

It sounds like the pump casing has cracked through frost damage. You will almost certainly have to replace the whole pump. First you need to identify the make and model of the pump. It will probably be a Shurflo Trail King 7 30psi or similar (see below).

These pumps are used in marine applications so you may be able to get one through one of the several boat chandlers in the Isle Of Man. Failing that there are many good online stores in the UK who could supply you. Simply Google 'Shurflo pumps Uk' and see what comes up.

Hi

To add to the above post
Once you have ID the pump manufacturer and found the fault
Try this site for part, s could be cheaper than a total replacement pump

If the part is not listed give them a ring very helpful people
