Carpet Creasing

Postby Magoo » March 30th, 2009, 3:19 pm

Hi
I have a 2006 Conqueror 650.

The front piece of carpet is developing a crease. This is caused I think by use and people pushing with their feet while in the process of standing up.
Now when anyone stands up it just creases causing them to sit down again or slide.

Is there any recommended way of making the carpet more resistant to creasing or anything that can be attached to stop this annoying action?
Regards

John

Try putting a suitably cut piece of rubber underlay between the carpet and the floor. It needs to be the roughly same shape as the carpet but smaller so that the edges of the carpet don't stick up.

Hi

We use a product at home from B&Q to stop mats slipping on laminate floors and on one mat in the caravan ( mat on top of carpet )

Bought in sheet form, ( on a roll) cut to size / shape required
