Despite the bad weather forecast it was a lovely rally with plenty of wild life, each morning we could hear a wood pecker working on the trees just behind us. Ron had told us they had 5 inches of snow on Tuesday. The entrance was a bit muddy and those without 4 wheel drive were helped out buy other members.

The weather was bright and at times the sun came out we did have some rain but this was mostly at night.  On Friday Martin and I together with Sharon and Carol and Alan Druce were working on the SOC stand and 8 new members were signed up.  On Saturday we went for a drive and it was bright and sunny and we went to Jacksons and had one of their all day breakfasts.

We had use of the small hall at the scout building in the evenings which was warm and dry.  On Saturday evening we had a fish and chip supper followed by 2 presentations.  Alan Druce gave the presentation  for 50 rallies to his daughter Helen her husband Adrian with the delightful little Charlotte running around taking photographs.  This was followed by Ron Ward giving the presentation to our President John Rowe and his wife Val who were celebrating their 350th rally.

The weather reports for Sunday were very wet and windy but we had a pleasant journey home.

A big thank you to our hard working marshals Ron and Maureen Ward and Mike and Chris Pitchford.  It was a lovely rally both warm and friendly.
