Step into Cheshire -Ollerton, Cheshire

2nd - 5th June 2005

The village of Ollerton provided us with a superb, very well maintained, flat grass site, ideal for a relaxing weekend and located very close to the interesting town of Knutsford. We arrived early, so as to enjoy the area to the full, and were not disappointed. The weather was pretty good for the whole weekend but the Marshal’s kindly erected a gazebo construction to keep off the elements for the evening festivities.

Saturday saw us visiting the local Game Fair, which was very enjoyable, and it was during this visit that the only heavy rain of the weekend was experienced.

Saturday evening saw us celebrating the Birthday’s of Alison Owen and Mark Neale, this should also have included Tim Hughes who unfortunately could not be with us but we enjoyed the cake and toasted all three anyway.

Spontaneous entertainment was provided by Mike Bird and his two sons Anthony and Andrew who entertained us with songs from the 60’s and 70’s. A super evening was had by all.

Many thanks to the Marshal’s Terry & Alison Owen and John & Val Brailsford for a super weekend.
