Christmas Party & Shopping - Pleasureland, Southport, Lancs.

Large areas of the country where covered in snow, but on Friday in Southport although cold was sunny with blue skies and this set the scene for the weekend.

By 8pm all but one of the 34 vans were safely sited, and many took advantage of the discounted drink prices in Casablanca’s bar.

On Saturday there where many trips from the caravans to the shops, and judging by the number of carry bags returning , most caravans where a little(?) heavier going home, but wallets lighter. On Saturday evening the children and adults all enjoyed themselves in the funhouse – see who you can spot on the photographs.

After a superb supper Father Christmas paid a visit, much to the delight of the younger members and some of the not so young.

Flag was held on Saturday evening and this gave everyone more time to shop Sunday morning.

Once again a good weekend at Southport, and YES we will be back next year!
