Following its recent expansion Catterick Caravans is launching a new 8 day event which it is calling The Great North Caravan Show. The show will run from Saturday 18th until Sunday 26th Setember 2010 and be based at its Richmond site in North Yorkshire. Over 200 caravans will be on display including some 30 in a new indoor showroom. The latest models from Swift will be there including some from the all new, ground breaking, Challenger, Eccles, Conqueror and Elite ranges. There will also be an accessory supermarket and an awning showroom. Live music, a hog roast, barbeques and children's entertainers will add atmosphere and make for a great day out. Calor gas may not be the cheapest but there's no doubting the quality of their brand. March 2008 saw the launch of their new lightweight steel 6kg cylinder with an empty weight of only half that of the traditional cylinder. At the time of launch these cylinders carried a £3 premium to 'recoup investment costs'. Calor has hundreds of outlets countrywide and you can also order online for home delivery at a cost of just £2.50 per delivery. International Caravan & Motorhome 2010 is the UK's biggest caravan and motorhome show; taking place at Birmingham's NEC this October 12-17. Last year the show attracted 80,000 visitors to see the 350 exhibitors on display. Thetford made its name in mobile sanitation solutions setting up a factory in the UK in 1971 to make the ever popular Porta Potti range of products. Since then Thetford has transferred its HQ to Holland and moved into the absorption refrigerator market where it now has a large market share.
